Hello and Welcome!

Hey friend!

Hello and welcome to my new blog and hopefully, your new organization salvation destination! (Gee, that was a mouthful.) I am BEYOND excited to begin this adventure and can’t wait to share the best organizing tools, products and systems with you while I grow Organized Life Design. Just think of me as the Serena Williams of organizing, only without the awesome body. And a little shorter (okay, a lot shorter). And not currently holding any world titles or championships. Never mind, just think of me as your organizing go-to girl. 😉

Here’s my why…

This handsome devil is Sal, who makes me laugh harder than anyone else on this planet. He is the peanut butter to my jelly. This man works hard so I can put family first while my business grows at a steady pace. Which brings me to Peanut, aka Sophia Grace, aka Puppy. She is my giggly, joyful, sweet 7 month old daughter. This is where my heart lives, with these two.

I can’t mention kids without mentioning the original two fur babies – Fiona, our brindle white boxer pit mix, and Shiner Bock, our labrador mix. These two have brought so much love to our lives and maybe just a few headaches. We also have a calico cat named Chula who graces us with her presence from time to time.

My most important why is Jesus. If I can break down even one stereotype about Christians, I might be doing something right. I am a faithful servant to His glory and am thankful every day for the gifts God has given me. He knows my heart and has never given up on me. He’s pretty much the most amazing friend anyone could ever have.

I can do all things through Him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13

What is Organized Life Design?

I’m so tickled you asked! I have been working as a Professional Organizer for the past 6 months after LITERALLY 10 years of dreaming about this “dream job”. The timing was right with a little one just arriving and my exit from the corporate world to finally make the plunge and start my company. I couldn’t be happier and more fulfilled by the work I am doing and the real impact in people’s lives. We are all emotionally and physiologically affected by our surroundings and that includes our clutter. It’s amazing the transformation in your life when you get organized, stop wasting precious time and focus on what fills your heart! I’m excited to grow my services business in the Houston area and start work on my product line coming in 2016. I hope you’ll come along this journey with me!
